MT-50 Basic but strong metronome
The MT-50 sticks to the basics: keeps time in a small, tough and easy to use package. Twist a knob and adjust tempo between 40 to 208 beats per minute and you're good to go. The MT50 speaker produces a loud 'n woody temple-block sound, easier to hear than bird-like beeps produced by button cell card metronomes. The MT50 also sports a flashing LED beat indicator, which can be used for silent practice or along with the speaker for visual reference.
The MT-50 also generates an A 440 reference tone for tuning. A built-in wire stand allows convenient upright positioning. Earphone included. Small enough to fit in the stash compatyment of any guitar case (3.5" x 2" x 1"). 9 volt battery required. Incidentally, 9 volt batteries are much more robust than button cells and seem to last forever.

MT-60 Value packed practice room
workhorse

This
is our studio workhorse metronome: it takes a lickin' and keep
on tickin'! And we've tried them all: Seiko, Seth Thomas, Korg,
Matrix, Taktel, etc., and they all had irritating clicks or quickly
fell apart under student use. The MT60 has a pleasantly woody
"temple-block" pulse-click and mellow downbeat bell
students don't
mind spending
hours practicing with. Other metronomes have harsh electronic
tweeps making you reach for the off switch. Notice the
MT60 tempo
wheel extends beyond the right edge of the unit? Makes for easy
one-handed tempo changes. Other units require both hands.
Tempos from
40 to 216 beats per minute, eight LEDs simulate the motion
of
a swinging
pendulum,
40-note
tone
generator, volume control, downbeats for 2, 3, 4 & 5 beat
measures, built-in stand and earphone jack. 9 volt battery required. Incidentally, these 9 volt batteries are much more robust than button cells and seem to last forever.
