into
guitar

take you further musically than el cheapo
Costco or Sam's Club one size fits all "box" guitars. How
does Takamine Japan do it? The G Series are made offshore
in
Asian factories to their exacting specifications. Basically
ou get much of the fit 'n feel of a Tak at a fraction of
the
price. If I had to pick the "deal" of the bunch,
the G128G takes the most tone for the buck award with it's
solid
spruce top and simple charm.

far the biggest stepup in sound quality comes when you

from a ply soundboard to solid spruce or cedar. Why? A
solid wood soundboard is more responsive than plywood and "breaks
in" or improves with regular use. The 128 series ups
the ante with a solid spruce top, ply
