Union Wharf and Surf Restaurant | Port Townsend WA

I grew up in Port Townsend shooting black and white: developing the film in my bathroom and making enlargements in the closet. I suppose that's why, in my mind, Port Townsend tends to look better in in black and white.

Low tide and the Surf Restaurant (now demolished), Summer 2011, as seen from the Union Wharf. That's the decommissioned Port Townsend to Coupeville ferry dock in the distance.

Signage near the old Surf restaurant on Taylor street, Summer 2016. The 1890s style crowd graphic reminds me of Dover clipart illustrations from pre-digital times. I'm guessing this wall has been painted over by now.
