Scotch Broom | Florence OR

Scotch Broom riot near Florence. Yes it's a weed and an evasive species but yellow lined roads and fields are photographically enticing.

Standing in the same spot as the above image, but looking towards Florence, I can see miles of beach and sand dunes stretching far inland. These 40 miles of beaches and dunes are part of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area and inspired Frank Herbert's novel, Dune.
